Couples KaP

Ketamine can be insightful in understanding deeper layers of your relationships. We often have protective parts of us that project stories on a partner or loved one, and we lose sight of the essential love that we hold for them. Couples KaP can offer a new way of connecting and relating that has less inhibition,  a sense of permission to speak from the heart, and more empathetic attunement.

When given a low dose of ketamine, both partners will enter a relaxed state, allowing the couple to feel more comfortable, vulnerable, and open to sharing and receiving feedback on their emotions with one another. Couples feel more comfortable sharing because the relaxing effects of the ketamine treatment help suppress the reactionary response. Instead, patients are better equipped to share their emotional state, listen to their partner’s emotions, and form healthier habits with communication.  

 

This benefit allows coupled patients to adopt new, healthier habits surrounding communication and relating to one another. Depending on the individual, the medicine can also provide antidepressant and anti-anxiety benefits for weeks or even months post-treatment, making it easier for some couples to create a stronger connection.

Our protocol is based on the True Yang C-KAP method: 

3 pre-Kap sessions* $250/each

3 Medicine Cycles**. Each Cycle is: 

1 x prep session (non medicine) $250

1 x 3-hour Medicine session $950

1 x integration session (non medicine) $250

*This is the minimum and we can assess if we need more sessions when we meet

**We will do 2 x individual KaP cycles and 1 x dyad Kap Cycle. This can be repeated.
